A business in Japan is hiring………. Babies. I don’t know what child labor laws are there, but they’re hiring crawlers and toddlers to make appearances at a senior living home. The gig pays out in formula and “nappies”. Both of which I find myself wishing I had written into my contract some days. The head of the nursing home says that the more than 100 residents love having the kids there and that, “the mere sight of the babies makes our residents smile.”
Obviously they’re not making the kids work shifts or anything like that. The moms are always there and they can come and go as they please. More than 30 babies have already signed up to help out.
You know what’s going to happen, right? One of the babies is going to become the favorite. Some of the other babies will get resentful and start talking behind its back. Then there will be all sorts of baby office politics. I see it happen all the time.
