Here’s what happens when you yell at a company for a bad product and it turns out you were wrong. The product here is a wedding dress. A Kentucky woman named Aubrey ordered a dress, put it on, and then went on a Facebook rant about how the dress didn’t look anything like what she’d ordered. She took a picture wearing it and posted it too.
She probably should have stopped there. She didn’t. She sent an angry e-mail to the company demanding that they take it back. They replied, very nicely, pointing out that she was wearing the dress inside out.
Aubrey, realizing that both her feet were in her mouth at that time, calmed down and had a good laugh about it. She said, “Sometimes it doesn’t matter how much school we put behind us … we’re still going to lack common sense, like how to put clothes on properly.”
I asked Jenny, “How is it possible to put a wedding dress on inside out? All of the frilly stuff is on the outside. It’d be turned in on you, scratching and being uncomfortable?” She said she didn’t have a clue, but she wanted to know how Aubrey’s husband laced up the back if it was inside out.
