My news feed had a video of a man rescuing an alligator. He was giving a guided tour of the swamp when they came up on a gator that was struggling to stay floating. This 8 foot beast kept slowly rolling over on its back in the water and looked sick. The guide jumped in the swamp water. Got a hold of the alligator, flipped it over, and helped it get on land. He told the tourists that he didn’t want it to drown. It was a super nice, if not crazy dangerous, thing to do.
I couldn’t find any more of the video at Youtube. But, I did find a news story about a man and his emotional support alligator who he cuddles with. There was also a video of guy who jumps in water with multiple gators and feeds them marshmallows……. From his mouth. He kind of looks like the fella who rescued the gator. They both are wearing plaid button up shirts with the arms torn off. Then again, everyone from gator country looks like Larry The Cable Guy.
