I am loving that concerts are back in full swing. This past weekend I had the opportunity to go see Lainey Wilson, Jordan Davis and Luke Combs in Omaha, but the funnies thing happened while trying to get there.
So the plan was to take the Froggy98 truck down to Omaha, but it was in use, so instead we took the B truck. I went with my friend Michelle and co-worker Cory. While Cory was driving, I looked over, once we were already on the I-80 and noticed that the gauge was on “E.” I don’t mean close to it; I mean ON E!!! Well, the gas light hadn’t come on yet, so I figured “okay once the light comes on, we have about 50 miles, we have to be good right?” We were rolling along and in good shape UNTIL WE HIT OMAHA. There was an accident and traffic was SLUGGISH! I don’t think I have been that anxious about going to a concert and not about the concert itself!😂😂. Well we made it! ON fumes and prayers, hahah!
The show itself was fantastic! And I was so excited at my seats!
If you are a big fan of Lainey Wilson, who you might know from “Yellowstone” (well the new season). Was the opener. (Quick funny story about Lainey, she was on the set of “Yellowstone” and forgot deodorant and took some from the props set.)
Next up was Jordan Davis, and there was a proposal during his set.
