Here’s a perfect dish for munching during the Super Bowl, Hot Sauce Cheesy Crock Pot Chicken. I got the idea from a post on Facebook, but I made a couple of modifications to make it easier and taste better. It looks like a gooey mess, but if you like spicy chicken or hot wings, it’s fantastic.
You’ll need:
—- A 16 ounce package of cream cheese.
—- 1 Cup of shredded cheddar cheese. I used half mild and half extra sharp.
—- 1 cup of ranch dressing.
—- ¼ a cup of Mango Habanero hot sauce.
—- 2 chicken breasts
Directions: You’ll need to put the chicken in a crock pot on low with a little water in the bottom, lid on, for about 5 hours so that you have nicely shredded meat. Take it out and set to the side. Now put everything else in the crock pot on low and let it get halfway melted. Stir it up and add the chicken. Stir some more and let fully melt and desired warm. Serve in bowl, scoop it onto tortilla chips to eat.
Also, use any hot sauce you’d like. Obviously some will take more or less than a 1/4 cup. We went with Habanero Mango as an experiment, but it turned out soooooo gooood.
