Nothing is more awkward than swiping on Tinder and stumbling on your boss or an ex . . . CRINGE.
Well, Tinder recently announced some new privacy and safety features, and one they’re rolling out lets you block a profile. So say if it’s your tax guy or someone you uncomfortably met at a party, you can block before swiping. Previously, you could only do this after matching with someone.
If you’re looking at suggested profiles and you stumble upon a co-worker or ex-friend or whoever it may be, you can block them to avoid each other. Paying subscribers can also utilize “Incognito Mode”.
When the update arrives (perhaps it already has) you can report bad behavior like inappropriate language in chats and harassment.
Good luck, and happy swiping.
