I’m not a fan of the DC movies over the last few years. Either the actual lighting is too dark or the plot too convoluted or the CGI just too much like a video game. But this Flash movie looks goooooooood. I’m going to love Michael Keaton as Batman again! The plot seems great. The acting looks great. It looks like a DC movie that’ll actually make me feel for the characters instead of thinking of them as 2 note cartoons.
And the teaser trailer for Dune 2 gives a minute glimpse into the movie that will be out in November. I could do without Timothy Chalamet as Paul, but I’ll put up with it to get the great looking visuals that only appeared before in my head while reading the books. One thing about it bothers me though. At the 20 second mark, there’s a guy that says, “Ah man. I saw my death.” I can’t figure out who the actor is. At first I thought it looked like a young Johnny Depp. Then I could see a young Val Kilmer too. Then I wondered if they got together and had a kid. If you know who he is, let me know.
