A man in Georgia sat around in a Waffle House for six hours. I’m sure they thought all sorts of things about the guy, but I bet none of them through the right thing.
Let me back up. Michael Carsley was there because he came in last in his fantasy football league. Originally, he was supposed to sit there for 24 hours. But, he got to take an hour off for every waffle he ate. He ate 18. For the 6 hours he was there, he livestreamed it…….. which he used as a virtual fundraiser for the waitress that had to put up with him for those 6 hours. In the end, he raised $1,040 for her.
Michael said the experience of seeing her reaction was priceless. What wasn’t priceless were the 18 waffles he ate. That came to $50.
