How great would it be if your kid’s shoes grew with your kid’s feet? A couple of guys in India develop a new shoe called Aretto that uncurls up to three shoe sizes. They’re mostly made of a knit fabric that allows expansion. The top half of these shoes actually looks like a really thick sock. The bottom half looks like the regular rubber type of sole you find on shoes. I watched a video show how flexible they are. It made me think of wresting shoes.
I used to wear wrestling shoes everywhere when I was in high school because it felt like I wasn’t really wearing shoes. David Letterman used to wear them on his show in the early years with slacks and a tie.
Anyway, some of the designs are cool looking. The web site says free delivery, but the prices are listed in India’s currency. When I found their address, I saw the word California, but it turned out to be the name of a street in India. Fun fact that I didn’t realize until I heard about these shoes, a toddler’s feet change about every three months.
