3 things are disappearing from the McD’s menu.

Since I talked about Burger King’s burger with 20 slices of cheese, it’s only fair that I mention McDonald’s. They’re phasing out three of the McCafe Bakery menu items: the Apple Fritter, the Blueberry Muffin, and the Cinnamon Roll with Cream Cheese Icing. Apparently customers weren’t interested enough to continue serving them. Maybe is McD’s were to add 20 slices of cheese to each of them they’d sell better? Just an idea. They didn’t say when these food items would be gone. If this saddens you, don’t worry. You can console yourself knowing that Grimace is back with his purple slush.

When a big restaurant chain discontinues something like this, do they just sell them until they’re gone or do they set a specific date? If they set a specific date, what do they do with all the leftovers? Do they give them to employees, toss them, or put them on E-bay? What will happen to all those leftover Apple Fritters? I like Apple Fritters. I’m hoping Ronald connects the dots there.

The clip at 33 seconds in is probably the best.
