You know you have a drinking problem when you break into a stranger’s house to steal their White Claws. Even if you’re an bear. It gets better. It was a 3 legged bear. And it happened in Florida. Of course it did.
Tripod, that’s what people living in Lake Mary, Florida call this bear. Tripod broke into the Diglio family home last Sunday while everyone except the dog and their 13 year old son were gone. The dog started barking and the kid stood staring as the bear tore its way through a screen door. Meanwhile, the mom got a security camera notification that someone was breaking into the house and was helplessly watching it happen on her phone.
Tripod lumbered to a fish tank where he ate some of the fish food, but left the fish alone. Then he hit the bar and took three White Claws before walking back out. Officials have no plans to catch him because he’s well known in the neighborhood and people like the bear. This was the second time a bear broke into this family’s house through the screen door. You would think maybe they’d start closing the patio door or something.
