Ran across a great idea for an easy to put together and great costume. Bonus, this one idea covers a family of four or four friends. Find a picture of the rock band KISS with their 70s makeup on. Each person in your quartet picks a member to be. Now, you’re just going to do the face makeup. You’re not going as the band. So, get some white, silver, and black makeup and paint your faces.
Then, instead of the crazy rock outfits, each of you get a shirt with the horizontal black and white stripes…. The kind mimes wear. Also get cheap French berets. Put everything on. Now you’re a French KISS.
You get bonus points if you also wear scarves and carry baguettes. And instead of being silent, sing everything you say to people….. loudly. Because French KISS wants it “Loud. They want to hear it loud. Right between the eyes.” They love it.
