The Big Ten Conference has unveiled the 2024 schedule of league games.
The conference had previously released the matchups for the next several seasons. Thursday saw those matchups given actual dates on the calendar.
The 2024 season will be the first for the Big Ten without divisions since before Nebraska joined in 2011.
Nebraska opens the Big Ten slate with a home games against Illinois on September 21. The first road game is September 28 at Purdue.
If no home games are canceled, that Illinois game will be the 400th consecutive sellout for Nebraska.
NU will play two new league foes in 2024. The Huskers host UCLA Nov. 2 and go to USC Nov. 16.
Nebraska has two off weeks in 2024: Oct. 12 and Nov. 9.
As has been tradition since joining the league, Nebraska closes the regular-season with a Black Friday game against Iowa, this one in Iowa City.
