I went through a bunch of different lists of “Great Xmas Presents Under $50” in the hopes of sharing some great ideas. What I found is….. that most big name magazine and news organizations list things that most people haven’t ever hear of and aren’t worth the price. For only $60, you can buy a pineapple. Not a joke. It made the $50 and under list because they’re only $35 each if you buy 2. Yippeee! Forbes lists the Kate McLeod Sleep Stone for a mere $45. It’s a rock in a fancy wood box. HGTV lists $49 for a ceramic mug that’s shaped like ski boot.
Not everything is outrageous. HGTV also has the Bath Time Essentials Wine Glass Holder. It uses suction cups to stick to the bath or shower wall and holds a wine glass. I also like the She’s Birdie Personal Safety Alarm. It’s a small device with a pull pin that activates a 130 decibel alarm and flashing strobe light. I’m thinking about getting one for Jenny.
And for kids, there’s a wooden pinball machine that they put together themselves. There’s the fun of crafting it and then playing on it after.
