An actor from the Marvel movies is moving into politics……. Sort of. Sebastian Stan, also known as Bucky and The Winter Soldier, is playing a young Donald Trump in a movie called “The Apprentice”. It’s supposed to be about his days with his mentor Roy Cohn. It’ll debut at Cannes in May. No word on where it’ll end up after that.
Sebastian Stan doesn’t look close enough to Trump in the picture I saw. The hair is the first thing I noticed. It’s too thick and well combed. Also, Sebastian Stan looks like he works out with large biceps clearly bulging the arms of his suit jacket. No offense to Trump, but he never looked like he was hitting the gym.
I will credit Sebastian Stan with taking on wildly different roles. It was just a couple years ago he was playing Tommy Lee in the biopic “Pam and Tommy”.
Oh, what if we could get Trump to be in a Marvel movie? Who could he play?
