Dr. Pepper has announced a new flavor of soda, Creamy Coconut.
First off, Dr. Pepper already goes around bragging about how they have 23 flavors in every can. Adding a 24th is overkill. They’re just showing off now. Also, “creamy” is a word that I have never associated with coconuts. Chunky or flakey, yes. And coconut milk is less creamy and more oily. Then again, I didn’t know that there’s coconut flavored Coffee Mate creamer until today.
But that’s not what’s being added. They’re adding toasted coconut flavor and claiming the creamy part comes from the Doctor Pepper.
Just go with it.
And obviously I’m going to have to get one and taste it because I OCD with new flavors like that. Also, I don’t get to eat much of anything with coconut because Jenny doesn’t like coconut. I wonder what she’d do if I grilled a steak and added coconut to it. Who am I kidding? She’d never let me cook a steak. It’s her favorite food and I’m pretty sure she thinks I’m nowhere near her abilities in grilling one.
