Calling all Cheez-It fans! Another unique Cheez-It attraction is open for you to experience this upcoming holiday weekend… And this is very different compared to last year’s ‘Cheez-It Stop’ at Joshua Tree National Park.
Last summer, the folks at Cheez-It converted The Station, a former gas station turned gift shop, into a mecca for Cheez-It fans. It featured the world’s first Cheez-It Pump where free bags of Cheez Its came funneling out (see below).
In addition to the free Cheez-Its, there was merch you could buy like t-shirts, scandals, and shot glasses. You could take photos with a giant Cheez-It box, pose next to vintage Cheez-It cars, murals, and so much more.
That was last year, this year Cheez-It may have out-cheesed itself with their new destination, a retro ‘Cheez-In Diner’.
It looks exactly like an old school diner with outdoor seating aaannndd loootttss of Cheez-It paraphernalia (see below). But what makes this place pop?? Of course, it’s the food!! And it’s… pretty cheesy (see below)!
Here’s a peek at the menu:
- Cheezburger with pimento cheese, lettuce, pickles, and an Extra Big Cheez-It cracker
- Cracker-crusted Big Grilled Cheez sandwich
- Cheezy Chicky Tendies with Cheez-It crumbs and optional spicy seasoning, hot honey, or Cheezy Ranch
- Cheez-It Fries in Original, White Cheddar, or Hot & Spicy, with optional pimento cheese sauce
- Cheez-It Biscu-it with honey butter
For dessert…
- Deluxe Cheez-It Milkshake, a vanilla shake with Cheez-Its, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, a caramel-and-cheese-cracker rim, and a chocolate-dipped Cheez-It on top
- Sweet-N-Salty Cheezcake with a cracker crust and caramel drizzle
There’s even a tasting station with a variety of crackers and flavors customers can try for free.
In true diner fashion there’s a jukebox… but with this Cheez-It jukebox, you pay with crackers and not quarters.
I know you’re thinking it… Is there merch? Yup! You can purchase retro merch like groovy t-shirts, trucker hats, diner mugs, and cute collectibles.
Sooo… Where’s the Cheez-In Diner? It’s located in Woodstock, NY and is open NOW until May 26th.
