Alex Trebek is getting honored by the United States Postal Service. They’re selling sheets of stamps that look like the question board on Jeopardy. I mean, the whole sheet as a whole looks like it. Each stamp will look like one of the screens with the answer on it. There are four columns that include Game Show Hosts, Entertainment, Famous Alexes, and Forever Stamp collections. Below each tile are the words “Who is Alex Trebek?”
Alex’s wife said that he would be over the moon with this honor.
These are forever stamps at 73 cents each which is way more than I thought stamps cost. I have not bought a stamp in over a decade. The only mail I ever send out are birthday and Christmas cards. So, Jenny buys all the stamps. I don’t even look at the cost. I just slap them on the envelopes. If you were asked me yesterday how much a stamp is, I would have said 32 cents. Seriously. I remember when the price went to 19 cents.
Anyway, yeah, 73 cents.
