Lay’s Potato Chips announced that they are bringing back 5 fan favorites and I got kind of excited. Years ago, they had a contest where people voted on new flavors. One of those years, Wasabi Ginger flavor won. Jenny and I loved it. Then they quit selling them a couple months later. I thought it was going to be one of the 5.
Buuuuut no. They’re bringing back Crispy Taco flavor which was basically an overload of chili powder. Also Southern Biscuits and Gravy flavor. I did not try that, but someone else talked me out of it saying it was horrendous. Fried Green Tomato flavor that I never tasted is one of the five. The other two are Cheesy Garlic Bread, which tastes like powdered cheese and garlic, and Chicken and Waffles, another I didn’t get a chance at.
You can’t buy them though. You have to go to the website and enter for a giveaway. However, to enter, you have to tell them what new, never used before, flavor you’d like to see. You can enter up to 10 times a day. I told them I want Barbacoa Beef flavored chips. And, maybe add in some mac and cheese flavoring too.
