Senior libero Lexi Rodriguez highlighted a list of five Nebraska volleyball players named All-West Region Tuesday by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
In addition to her All-Region honor, the fourth of her career, Rodriguez was also named Region Player of the Year, the third Husker to earn the honor since it was instituted in 2017. Rodriguez is trying to become the third player in school history to be a four-time All-American, joining Kadie Rolfzen (2013-16) and Sarah Pavan (2004-07).
Rodriguez was joined on the All-Region team by Merritt Beason, Andi Jackson, Harper Murray and Bergen Reilly. All five were also named first-team All-Big Ten last week.
The Huskers now prepare to face Dayton in the Sweet 16 Friday at 8:30 p.m. at the Devaney Center.
