Series Voter Registration Scheduled Ahead of Lincoln General Election

The Lancaster County Election Office will be hosting a series of voter registration events, weekly, leading up to Lincoln’s Primary and General Elections in April and May.

According to Election Commissioner Todd Wiltgen, during the 2024 November General Election, over 4,200 Lancaster County voters cast provisional ballots on Election Day because they had not updated their voting information. Taking time to complete the additional paperwork slowed down the voting process for everyone. This series of drives is being organized to try and avoid a similar outcome at the polls this year.

“There are many ways to update your voter registration all of which take less time and effort than completing the forms necessary to vote provisionally” said Election Commissioner Todd Wiltgen. “Updating your voting registration will also eliminate the uncertainty about whether your vote will be counted.”

Any resident who will be 18 on or before November 4, 2025; has moved; changed their name; or would like to change their political party affiliation, may register to vote with the assistance of a team of trained, bi-partisan deputy registrars at the following times and locations:

    5:30 – 7:30 pm
Walt Branch Library, 6701 South 14th Street
