Chili and cinnamon roll ice cream. It sounds like one of my experimental recipes that I talk about on my show. But I am not the only mad food scientist. This is a new food from Nebraska’s own Runza and 402 Creamery. In a tweet, 402 Creamery announced it by saying, “ When we thought of the idea to do a chili and cinnamon roll ice cream, we knew we had to do it right. So, we partnered with our friends at Runza Restaurants to create the most Midwest ice cream flavor you can think of! We started with a chili spiced ice cream, made with the famous seasoning blend that Runza uses in their chili! Paired with pieces of ooey gooey cinnamon roll – this flavor is what Nebraska dreams are made of.”
It looks like they come in pints and will be available at the 402 Creamery locations in South Lincoln and over in the Haymarket. The Haymarket location which is just a little over a mile from my studio………. I’m just saying……. that I’m one of Lincoln’s premiere extreme food tasters. Also, call me. I have an idea for a chocolate mac and cheese ice cream.
The Chili and Cinnamon Roll Ice Cream will be available starting Thursday, while supplies last.
