Straight out of a science fiction movie, a meteorite crashed through the roof of a house in New Jersey and bounced around the bedroom. No one was home, so nobody got hurt. But, that means no one got super powers either. Totally missed their shot at being the invisible family. Experts think it is part of the Eta Aquriid meteor shower that happening right now through May 27th.
Suzy Kop, whose father lives in the house told reporters that she thought it was just a random rock, so she went ahead and touched it………. because random rocks fall out of the sky and blow holes in roofs. She said it was warm.
In the 1982 movie “Creepshow”, a meteor drops in this hillbilly’s land. He touches it and eventually turns into a giant piece of fungus. I’d suggest Suzy watch that movie, but it’s probably too late for her. By the way, if a meteor falls on your land or through your roof, do you get to keep it or is it one of those situations that where the government gets to come in and subject you to a bunch of tests?
Actually, according to Space dot Com, it’s yours if it falls on your land. You can sell it or turn it into a new beer stein or whatever.
