Here’s a great grill idea for the 4th, Hawaiian Chicken Skewers. Think sweet and spicy flavored shish-kabob. I’ve always thought shish-kabobs are more fun to cook, sort of like the Legos of the grill because you can arrange them any way you want. It’s sort of like stacking toys and then taking them apart again. Anyway, you’re going to need chicken, pineapple, green peppers, an assortment of sauces including barbeque and soy, honey, and a few other things. It’s easy prep. The measuring will probably take the longest time. Then it’s simply whisking the marinade together, putting stuff on the skewers, then brushing the marinade on while you grill. Serve on rice with a little cilantro. Yummy!
