I’m never letting the machine pick lottery numbers for me again. I have never, ever gotten a single number when letting the machines pick. Not once in my life. It got frustrating enough to me that I mentioned it to Jenny the other day after the Mega Millions numbers came down. Not a one was a match to what I had on my ticket.
If it were 4 or 5 tickets in a row, I wouldn’t think much of it. I understand the odds. But every ticket my whole life?!?!
I also bought a ticket for last night’s Powerball. Guess what. Nada.
So, I’m done letting our future masters, the machines, keep me down. I’ve picked my own Mega Millions numbers. But, I had to learn how to first. Would you believe that I had no idea what the number ranges were. White balls are 1 to 70. Yellow ball is 1 to 25. Then I closed my eyes and wrote down the first numbers that came to mind. My mind really wanted to focus on numbers between 30 and 38 for some reason. So, I erased a few and redid them. Come Friday night, I think I’ll be just as happy if I get a number right as I would be winning.
