Never lose hope could the moral of this story. A woman in Kansas lost her cat Bob……….. 10 years ago. But, someone finally found the furry critter all the way in North Carolina, well over a thousand miles away. It’s a mystery as to how Bob got all that way, but the owner is happy to know he’s alive and kicking.
How’d they figure out Bob belonged to her after 10 years? She had him chipped. Someone in North Carolina took Bob to the vet. The vet scanned him and then contacted Bob’s human mom. She’s happy to get Bob back, but apparently you need an interstate travel certificate to move cats across state lines. So, she’s going to have to buy that and pay for a full range of vet bills in North Carolina. She’s set a Go Fund Me page to help pay for it. If you’re willing to help the kitty get back to Kansas, here’s the link.
Or, send the cat a pair of ruby slippers and tell him to click them together while chanting, “There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home.”
