Charmin is changing their toilet paper design. It’s something that they have been working on for literally 5 years. Will it change the way that you…………. You know?
I doubt it.
This major change is a new edge where you tear off the paper to use. Instead of the straight line perforated edges, they’re now going to be wavy perforated edges. It’s supposed to give you a smooth tear every time. No more squares. These will be more like rectangles with squiggly sides. The company says that the top complaint has been uneven tears for years.

Remember when their big selling point was its squeezability? The commercials featured Mr. Whipple the store owner who was always yelling at customers to quit squeezing the Charmin. There’d always be a group of women standing by a display manhandling rolls of the stuff.
