Here’s a friendly argument. What’s the best way to grill corn?
Husk on or off? Should you soak the corn before you put it on the grill? Do you butter it first? I could go on. I never soak and I always remove the husk. Then it’s straight to the grill. You get a few nice grill marks and the moisture already in the corn helps cook it up just fine. Then butter after it’s cooked. We usually just add a little olive oil and salt.
That said, I did find a recipe that Bobby Flay put together for leaving the husk on. It also includes instructions for making extra tasty Barbeque flavored butter from scratch. It sounds really good.
