Two men were arrested after Lincoln Police stopped their vehicle at 23rd and P Street early Saturday morning for not having license plates or in-transit stickers. Captain Todd Kocian says 30-year-old Darrion Cescolini was behind the wheel and 33-year-old Jacee Quickbear was in the passengers seat.
“Upon contact, the officer observed an open alcohol container in the vehicle and a probable cause search was conducted,” Kocian says. A black polymer handgun was found between the driver’s seat and center console and four plastic baggies with drug residue were also discovered.
Cescolini was arrested for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. Quickbear was arrested for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and providing a false name.
