There’s now an Omaha edition of Monopoly. The Monopoly people said, “We’re thrilled to kick off end of the year and potential shopping season with the launch of MONOPOLY: The Omaha Edition and to celebrate one of the Midwest’s most beloved, culturally rich and geographically beautiful regions. We’ve spent months creating a portrayal of the area’s dynamic communities that we hope locals and visitors alike will enjoy for years to come.”
Omaha’s most famous spots are featured on the board: Josyln Art Museum, Charles Schwab Field, Boys Town, the Old Market and some others. Some businesses are also included as well as parks and bridges.
I do not see The Henry Doorley Zoo on the board though. To be fair, I’ve only seen small pictures and video that gets blurry when I zoom in.
The Omaha edition of Monopoly is available in stores for $45.
