A new senior center is addressing the need for elder-care in North Lincoln, and surrounding communities in Lancaster County.
Dial Senior Living, based in Omaha, cut the ribbon last week at their first facility in Lincoln — Salt Creek Senior Living — off I-80 at the 27th Street exit.
Located in the Salt Creek watershed and surrounded by the renowned Saline Wetlands, the more than 93,000-square-foot community includes 62 assisted living and 25 memory care units.
“We have floor to ceiling windows, the dining room is beautifully staged. It’s all very open. Our residents have beautiful sunrise/sunset views. We have our game area, outfitted with billiards and a shuffleboard. We’ve got lots of common spaces set up for dining, socializing, and engaging with residents,” described Jenni Alexander, Marketing Director for Dial Senior Living. “One of our core values is ‘family serving family.'”
Other amenities at the center include a fitness center, a pet spa and dog park, and an elegant a grand piano when you first walk in.
Alexander says there was a urgent need for more senior care services on the far-north side of Lincoln, as well as commuting towns north of the city like Raymond, Malcom, and Davey.
