I have made no secret of the fact that I am a very proud Aunt. I have 3 nieces and 6 nephews (my brother’s 3 kids that live in the area, my BFF’s 3 kiddos that live on the east coast, and my ex-husband’s sibling’s 3 kids…2 in Indiana and 1 in Atlanta). I am at my originals (my brother’s kids) games, concerts, speech meets (I even started judging speech last school year since I couldn’t watch the older 2 originals perform their speeches in person due to Covid), drama performances…you name it, I am there. I love spending time with my Goose, Bud and Grantasaurus. They are my favorite people in the entire world and I love to support them in any way I can. My office and apartment are covered in their photos. I’m sure my friends are tired of hearing about them, but I don’t care. As I said, they’re my favorite people. I was so touched to see this news piece on a farmer in Australia who is on lockdown due to Covid. He wasn’t allowed to travel to his beloved Aunt’s funeral and wanted to honor her in some way. Check out what he got his herd of ewes to do with just a bit of grain.
