6th grader saves 2 lives, in separate instances, in one day.

On December 9th, a 6th grader in Oklahoma saved one life at school in the morning. Then later that day he saved another life. Davyon Johnson, 11 years old, after three squeezes to the midsection, helped dislodge a water bottle cap from the throat of a classmate by using the Heimlich maneuver. That, in itself qualifies any 11 year old as a hero. But he wasn’t done. That evening, while he and his mom were driving home from church, he saw smoke coming from the back of a house. He got his mother to pull over and the he ran up to the door and started knocking to warn the people inside while his mother honked the car’s horn. Multiple people ran out of the house, the last of which was an elderly woman who was having problems walking. So he helped get her out of the house.

I think my biggest accomplishment in 6th grade was probably learning how to spell Heimlich.
