You ever go to a web page and the video there has nothing to do with the headline?

Things on the internet that need to be fixed: When you go to a web site for a story where there’s a video right at the top of the page under the headline………. and then the video has absolutely nothing to do with the headline. If you advertise that you sell pizza, don’t put motorcycles on the menu.

I saw a headline that said “JetBlue passengers beg to deplane after aborted landings at JFK”. I thought it might be interesting. Maybe someone was trying to get off a plane that was still in the air. I went to the site and the very first sentence on the page is “Video surfaced online of Jet Blue passengers begging crew members to let them off a plane after it attempted to land at a New York City airport multiple times.” It’s directly beneath the the video box.

So I’m ready to go. Let’s see it!

The video was about E-15 gasoline. Nothing related to the headline. I scrolled down the whole page. There wasn’t a single snippet of the video that the story is about. Nothing. I tracked down the video myself on YouTube. I’ll put it in my next blog.
