Is this a legit frozen pizza hack?

I came across this on TikTok and now I’m curious if it actually works.

It seems the Internet can’t decide if it’s for or against this way to slice a frozen pizza.  The hack involves NOT slicing the pizza, rather you place the packaged pizza on the edge of the counter halfway and hit the outer edge so it breaks in half.  Then you rotate and repeat.  The guy in the video (below) says the pizza is precut after you take it out of the oven.

Some people say the hack is genius, while others say it has to be cooked on a pan (cooking on the rack may cause the cheese to leak).

What says you?  Have you tried this before?  I’m definitely giving this hack a try the next time I purchase a frozen pizza.
