Men’s size matters to their health.

Bigger isn’t always better. A new study finds that shorter guys, like me, have some health advantages. The data shows that men over 5’9” have an elevated risk of 100 different health conditions. They’re more likely to develop nerve damage in their hands and feet, deformities in their toes and feet, blood clots varicose veins, bad circulation, leg ulcers, irregular heartbeats, and even fungal infections. 5’9” is the average height of an American male.

I should note that guys taller than that do have some benefits like lower risk of high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
