Another reason not to drink from the hose.

Here’s the yearly reminder not to drink water from the garden hose. I went to hook up our hose Sunday and before I could get it threaded to the spout, my hands were covered in ants. They were pouring out from inside the hose. It was a never ending stream of ants. No matter how much I shook the hose, shaking out ants, more just kept coming. Quite frankly, I’m surprised I have a hand left. So, among other reasons, don’t drink from the hose unless you want a mouthful of angry ants.
