Dr. Pepper is putting out a bourbon flavored version of the soda. There isn’t any alcohol, just the bourbon flavor. It seems like an odd pairing. Dr. Pepper doesn’t go well with any alcohol. Except vodka, but vodka mixes with anything. I looked up Dr. Pepper cocktail recipes. They all call for copious amounts of syrups and other flavorings, pretty much making the Dr. Pepper moot. I knew a guy back in school who used to love mixing Dr. Pepper with Mad Dog 20/20. It was awful.
But back to the bourbon flavored Dr. Pepper. It comes in special cans which are inside decorative boxes that say “Fansville Reserve” on the outside. They are limited edition. However, you won’t have to fight bots at a specific time and day to get one. You do have to sign up for the Dr. Pepper perks program. Then you play a “Scratch To Win” game on their website.
