Giant asteroids, that were hidden by the sun, might be a problem down the road. Scientists are calling the planet killers, so nothing to worry about, right? There are three of them, the biggest, just under a mile wide. That’s the one they say could come within the Earth’s path in the distant future.
Distant future, eh? I’m the guy that laughs at conspiracy theories, but NASA just made a huge deal out of shooting things at asteroids and pushing them out of the way. They did it and made sure everyone knew about it. I’m just saying that it’s really convenient that happened last month and now all of a sudden there’s announcements about giant asteroids that we just all of a sudden discovered in our orbit. What else are they hiding? Lightsabers? Please tell me they’re hiding light sabers. Whoosh! Whoosh!
That was all sarcasm, of course. Except the pat about lightsabers. I would love a light saber.
That said, NASA is saying chances are pretty slim of any of these hitting Earth.
