Nebraska State Patrol investigators teamed up with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force on Wednesday to arrest a Lincoln man after finding numerous drugs, explosives and a gun at his residence.

The patrol says investigators served a search warrant at an apartment near 29th and F Street. During the search, investigators located 7 pounds of marijuana and smaller amounts of cocaine, methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, tramadol pills and THC wax.

Investigators also found a shotgun, several boxes of ammunition, and two explosives that were removed from the home by the NSP Bomb Squad.  51 year old Jeffrey Ziegler of Lincoln was booked into the Lancaster County Jail for possession of controlled substances, possession with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and unlawful possession of an explosive.

The Lincoln-Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force consists of the Lincoln Police Department, Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol.
